Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sealtrace desktop application and the sealtrace.io website (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by a numbered company registered in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What Sealtrace is

Sealtrace is a screen and audio recording tool for traders. It records your screen, monitors network conditions, detects anomalies, and allows you to export recordings for personal use. Sealtrace is not a legal service, financial advisor, or evidence certification platform. We make no guarantees about the legal admissibility or effectiveness of any recording.

Your account & license

To use Sealtrace beyond the free trial, you must purchase a subscription. Your license is personal and non-transferable. You may install Sealtrace on your own computers for your own use. You may not:

• Share, resell, or sublicense your subscription
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the application
• Use the Service to record anyone else's screen or device without their consent
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Free trial

We offer a 7-day free trial with full Pro access. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial expires, you must purchase a subscription to continue using the Service.

Pricing & payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly through LemonSqueezy, our payment provider. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Current pricing is listed on our website. All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy and are subject to their terms of service.

Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with LemonSqueezy's refund policy. If you have questions about a refund, contact us at support@sealtrace.io and we will do our best to assist you.

Your recordings

You own all recordings, audio, logs, and export packages created by Sealtrace. We do not have access to, claim ownership of, or retain any rights to your content. Your recordings are stored locally on your computer and are your responsibility to manage, back up, and protect.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Sealtrace responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not:

• Record screens or audio where you do not have the legal right to do so
• Use recordings to harass, defame, or harm others
• Attempt to circumvent license validation or use the Service without a valid subscription
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure
• Misrepresent recordings as something they are not

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through LemonSqueezy. We may suspend or terminate your license immediately if you violate these Terms, initiate a chargeback against a legitimate charge, or engage in abusive behavior toward the Service or its team. Upon termination, your license to use the application ends. Your local recordings remain on your computer and are unaffected.

Availability & updates

We strive to keep Sealtrace available and up to date but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The application updates automatically. We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that recordings will be admissible in any legal proceeding, that the Service will meet your specific requirements, or that it will operate without errors or interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost trades, or trading losses, regardless of the cause.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
